About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on and experienced Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of a function that is still being defined. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a value chain designed to outperform the best in the industry.

As our Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be central to improving logistics, increasing profitability, and enabling our company’s growth in the years ahead, collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external partners. While our current customer base is in the Norwegian market, our supply chain is inherently global. You’ll work closely with Norwegian and international suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to build and scale a value chain that meets world-class standards.

Ideally, you’ve done this before, you know the pitfalls to avoid, and you know how to build a successful supply chain in a fast-growing company. You are able to operate independently, introduce structure where there is none, and lead the development of scalable, resilient processes. This is not a role where you come in to manage existing operations. This role is about designing how we do it from the ground up.

As our first Supply Chain Manager, you’ll report directly to the COO, and you’ll be supported by a strong cross-functional team in engineering, product, and operations. We’re looking for someone who thrives as a part of a team but can also independently drive initiatives from idea to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage all supplier relationships, including logistics, purchasing, capacity planning, and qualification.
• Plan and prepare for upcoming projects to ensure supplier readiness.
• Coordinate hands-on logistics (primarily Norway-based suppliers today).
• Lead procurement efforts, including price negotiations and contract management.
• Drive process optimization and improvements both strategically and operationally.
• Identify supply chain risks and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate them.
• Support and enable scalability as Six Robotics grows.

What We’re Looking For

This is a builder’s role, meaning we’re looking for someone excited to define the role, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact. If you're a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and sees ambiguity as a chance to create clarity and structure, you’ll fit right in.

In addition to this, we are looking for someone who: 

• Is curious and motivated to work in a cutting-edge environment involving drones, AI, and robotics.
• Has experience with international supply chain management in a hardware- or tech-driven environment.
• Brings expertise in procurement, including contract negotiation and cost optimization.
• Communicates fluently in English (Norwegian is a plus).

Bonus Skills

• Experience spanning both strategic and hands-on aspects of supply chain management.
• Exposure to risk analysis, supplier performance monitoring, and supply chain KPIs.

Security Clearance Requirement
Due to our close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces, all employees must undergo a security clearance. Prior clearance is not required, this will be initiated as part of onboarding.
